The 2019 China Skills Competition - National 3D printing Professional Skills Competition -'gmtlight'3D Printing and Modeling Technology Competition' was grandly held in Beijing from September to 15, 2019.

Leaders, backbone technicians and well-known scholars of 3D printing from the central and northern regions participated in the event.

The formal competition is divided into student group, teacher group and worker group. In the form of on-site release task book, the design and production are divided into different 3D printer groups, in which the competition time of students group is 5 hours, the competition time of teachers group is 6 hours, and the workers 3D printing group is 3 days.

The student group from the north-central competition area has launched a fierce competition. This student group selection competition is a team competition. It mainly tests the professional design skills of the competitors, and inspects the adaptability and professional accomplishment of the competitors. After getting the task book, the teams worked together to start the task of this 3D printing technology contest. After examining the topic, analyzing and conceiving, drawing sketches, three-dimensional modeling, slicing, 3D printing, post-processing, filing and a series of actions, they carried out the task of the contest.

Teachers entered the competition, which assessed the contestants'three-dimensional modeling, product innovative design, product 3D printer post-processing and professional accomplishment.

The competition of the workers group is more difficult. More than 30 experts in 3D printing work out the competition rules. After examination, analysis and conception, drawing sketches, three-dimensional modeling, slicing, 3D printing, post-processing and light curing, all the procedures are indispensable.

The scoring team is composed of professors from Harbin Polytechnic University, and gmtlight 3D printing experts are also involved in the work of the judges.

The first prize in this competition is RMB 50,000. The GMTLIGHT 3D Printing Team won the first prize. They will share the prize.
