Recently, Sichuan Provincial Health Commission and China Telecom jointly launched a 5G + Intelligent Medical Project in Liangshan Prefecture. The projects include building 5G network in Cliff Village, providing remote diagnosis and treatment services, and realizing real-time monitoring of health signs.

The "Cliff Village" 5G + Intelligent Medical Project of "Health Poverty Alleviation" will be based on 5G communication network, combined with Internet Connection of Everything, big data, artificial intelligence, cloud computing and other technologies, focusing on solving the problems of inadequate access to medical services in poor areas caused by traffic inconvenience.

Relevant personnel showed the consultation with doctors of Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital, Liangshan First People's Hospital and Zhaojue County People's Hospital through 5G video, demonstrating the scene of interaction between village doctors and large hospitals under 5G network environment.
