Amsterdam Red Light District,
Amsterdam's municipal government has issued a management order: in the future, tours from outside Amsterdam will no longer be allowed to enter the city's "red light district" for visits.
"We prohibit such visits not only to alleviate the traffic burden caused by congestion in downtown areas, but also to raise respect for sex workers." City Councillor Udo Kock said.
As one of the world's most famous "red-light districts", Amsterdam's "red-light districts" have attracted millions of tourists in the past decades, and Amsterdam has been at the forefront of legalizing sex work.
However, the city with a developed tourism industry has been blocked by tourists who often come to the hot "red-light district".
