The purpose of EMC testing is to detect the impact of electromagnetic radiation generated by electrical products on human body, power grid in public places and other normal electrical products.
EMC test, also known as electromagnetic compatibility, refers to the comprehensive evaluation of electromagnetic interference (EMI) and anti-interference capability (EMS) of electronic products. It is one of the most important indicators of product quality. The measurement of electromagnetic compatibility consists of test site and test instrument.
Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is a subject which studies that all kinds of electrical equipment can coexist without degradation under the condition of limited space, time and spectrum resources. It includes two parts: electromagnetic interference and electromagnetic sensitivity. The electromagnetic interference test is to measure the electromagnetic wave signal generated and emitted by the tested equipment under normal working condition to reflect the intensity of interference to the surrounding electronic equipment. Electromagnetic sensitivity test is to measure the anti-interference ability of the tested equipment to electromagnetic disturbance
