Affected by high-altitude trough, low-eddy shear and cold air,On the evening of July 7, Nanning, Guangxi, was hit by heavy rainfall, causing serious waterlogging in the urban area. From 20:00 p.m. on July 7 to 12:00 p.m. on July 8, the Nanning Fire Detachment dispatched 18 fire vehicles (times) and 88 firefighters (times) to rescue 46 trapped persons. Due to timely response, the disaster did not cause casualties.
If there are night lights or fluorescent sticks in residents'homes, rescuers can easily find trapped people, which is helpful to rescue work.
